Day 1:  U.S.A

Leave U.S for overnight transatlantic flight to Europe (London or Amsterdam)

Day 2: Europe/Nairobi, Kenya

Connect your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Arrive in the evening. Meet your SAS safari guide and transferred to Norfolk Fairmont Hotel

Day 3: Nairobi/Masai Mara

This morning we fly over the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara and here we find the old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. This northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, one of the world’s most rewarding wildlife observation areas, virtually throbs with life. Your luxury camp is tucked away in a prime wildlife area in the heart of the Masai Mara.

You have the option to visit a Maasai village (additional cost) to see a way of life that has survived almost unchanged for generations. Many special events are planned here.

Governors Camp

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve

Today we get a closer look at the Mara during two extension game runs.

Game viewing options abound at Masai Mara. Choose to go on morning game drive or take an optional bush walk with an expert naturalist guide, or you may wish  to soar over the bush in an optional hot – air balloon, seeing the world of the Mara as enormous herds of grazing animals ------- predators hide among the acacia trees – black manned lion and cheetah.

And finally the pinnacle of our stay – an optional bush cocktail party deep in the heart of the Mara at sunset.

Governors Camp

Day 4-6: Manda Island, Lamu

This afternoon you will be transferred to J.K.I.A to connect your flight to Lamu Island. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the luxurious Manda Bay Resort where you will spend 3 nights in a garden room with full board basis.

Combining the comfort of a boutique resort with the essence of being a castaway on a remote island hideaway. Optional Activities include kayaking, waterskiing, snorkeling, laser sailing, windsurfing, spa treatments, boat trips to Lamu and fishing.

Manda Bay Resort

Day 7: Nairobi/U S

You will spend the morning either relaxing, walking or soaking up in the sun or getting one last water ski, before you head to the airport to connect your flight to Nairobi. Tonight you will be transferred to the International Airport for your outbound flight

Day 8: U S

Arrive home today to share fond memories with family and friends.
